Hey guys.
Its been a fun ride, but the fact is I can no longer afford the time nor the finance to keep the site going. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the site and a special thank you to those who donated.
The site will probably be gone by September – I thought I’d give everyone enough warning in case they want to download some shows before the site is gone.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Two new shows have been added to the site, both recorded by Morris Coffey and submitted by Jeremy Child (many thanks to both). One is from the Soundwave Festival and the other from the Roundhouse, both in February 2010. Both are great sets and well recorded. Enjoy!

I’ve added four new shows to the site today! Some old, some new:
- 1999/03/18 – Twister’s – Richmond, VA (Audience, MP3) – awesome old school recording of the guys. They had to change amp’s right before the show due to technical difficulties, so the show has a nice raw edge to it.
- 2002/05/28 – Rock City – Nottingham, England, UK (Soundboard, MP3) – this show has been on the site before, but its now updated to an excellent radio-ripped soundboard recording. Highly recommended!
- 2009/02/28 – The Metro – Chicago (Audience, MP3) – A well recorded show from the recent Clarity x10 tour.
- 2009/03/05 – Nokia Theatre – Los Angeles, CA (Audience, FLAC format) – Another great show from the recent tour.

Hi everyone,
Firstly I’d like to wish all visitors to the site a happy and safe 2009. I hope Christmas (or whatever holiday you may celebrate) was fun for you all!
The Jimmy Eat World Media Archive has been running for over 2 years now on this server, with myself personally paying for all server costs from Godaddy.com. Since Godaddy are an American based company, and since the economy is in a bit of a state right now resulting in the UK pound being a hell of a lot weaker against the US dollar than it used to be, my monthly server costs have increased by over half since I first started paying for it. Sure, I do have Google ads on the site, but so far I’ve only received one payment from those and it really wasn’t much (didn’t cover the costs of the server thats for sure!), and with the increasing use of Ad Blocking software and browser add-ons, these are pretty much useless (I may take them off the site soon).
It is for this reason that I ask you kindly for a donation towards the running costs of the site. This, of course, is not obligitory, but any money donated will only go towards the running of this site and help pay the increasing server costs to keep these files here.
Any size of donation is most welcome, even if its only pennies! Every little helps. You can donate using Paypal by clicking the Donate button
I hope you guys do understand and don’t feel like I’m just out to try and get a free lunch from you all
Since I’m just a student and with these costs ever-increasing, I really have little choice since I want to keep this site here!
Thanks to everyone who visits this site, who clicks on the ads, who contributes to discussion, and of course, who downloads and enjoys the files hosted here!
